Cooper Street Reserve

Visitors from all over the Sutherland Shire come to enjoy this large well-laid out park situated adjacent to the Princes Highway and Woronora Road at the southern tip of Engadine. It is ideal for families with young children because it combines a modern playground and a well-paved foot and bicycle path that rings a large grass plain ideal for picnics and family sporting activities.

It also has large tree-shaded sections away from the bustle of the playground for people who come for quiet reflection as well as respite from the stresses of suburban life.

shady area
Lots of trees provide ideal spots for reflection.

Residents lobbied hard for this scenic spot to be spared from high-density residential development. The overall result of this single act of civic thoughtfulness never fails to impress!
