The Royal National Park
The Royal National Park is a vast nature reserve about 35 kilometres south of Sydney. It can be accessed by road from Stanwell Park from the south and from the Princes Highway midway between Loftus and Engadine. Its Visitors' Centre along the banks of the Hacking River is a 10 minute drive from Engadine.

Boats hire along the Hacking River.
Whilst there are many places of interest for serious campers and bushwalkers, there are more than enough picnic facilities and even venues for large gatherings and excursion groups.

Numerous clearyly-marked biking and walking trails can also be found around the reserve.
